***What should you do now? (short version)***

Families/Individuals with deposits placed before puppies arrive will be asked to

1. choose a puppy (send us your favorite 1, 2, or 3 or more puppies in order of preference
   by   ---> Thursday, March 6 11:00 p.m. CST<---  ), or

2. pass/defer to wait for a future litter (and letting us know a timeline or what you are looking for would be great!), or

3. request a refund of your deposit as described on the Pick of the Litter page (if you no longer want one of our current or future puppies).

**** More Detailed Information/Procedure ****

1. Pick your favorites: Look at the pictures and information, and pick your favorite puppy, your second favorite, and your third favorite (or more, if you would like to keep more alternatives right away).

2. Email those three-or-more favorite puppies (in order of your preference) to crbeagles@gmail.com  so I can begin recording families' highest choices. Actual puppy reserving will be done in the order deposits were received. For example, you might pick out several and send me your list with your favorite first, then second favorite, etc.:

   Squirt's Female 4

   Squirt's Female 3
   
   If you are very high in the order on the list, you may be fine sending just 2 or 3 on your list.
   If you are farther down, it will help us go faster if you have sent us a longer list.

3. ***Your highest-desired puppy that is not chosen by someone higher on the list will be reserved for you!*** :-)  Watch which puppies others have listed on the table toward the bottom of this page, if I have one there...after a few people have responded, I will add the table and start recording.

4. If all of your favorites are chosen before we get to you, I will ask if you want to select other puppies/favorites. But, if you give a complete list from the beginning, this will go faster.
   You can also defer to a future litter or request a refund to cancel your reservation.
   Most of the time, everyone gets one of their first few choices unless waiting for an unusual puppy (color, size, etc.) or unless we have a lot of reservations.

• If you would like to cancel your reservation, please let me know before you pick/reserve a specific puppy. See the pick of the litter/pre-reservation page for details about refunds.

• Please make sure you are ready for a long-term commitment before you reserve a puppy. 

• Puppies aren't potty trained when they leave us, but are at the age that they are ready for training.

• They will go through chew stages.

• They will be high energy.

• If you aren't ready for a puppy at this stage of life, this isn't the right thing to do!

Photos: To show the puppies' markings without taking a lot of pictures, I sometimes put mirrors around the puppies. This allows you to see their markings on both sides, as well as their backs, with only a couple of photos. If I used mirrors, you can click the above graphic to help you see where the actual puppy is, and which puppy views are in the mirrors, if needed.

Prices vary, with price variations typically caused by the time of year (Spring=highest demand and prices), gender, uniqueness or perfection of markings, size, color, bloodlines.

Refunds: If you don't feel comfortable picking your puppy from pictures as an infant, don't like prices, don't want to wait any longer, etc., please let me know before you pick a puppy to reserve and I will follow the refund description on the Pick of the Litter page to refund.

Passing/Waiting for a Future Litter: If you want to wait for a future litter, let me know. Even if a couple people may have indicated a desire to wait, I like to offer their pick at the right place in time in case they see a puppy that really grabs their heartstrings (this has happened several times before) unless they have indicated solid confidence that they are waiting for a future litter.

Can CR Beagles cancel your reservation?  Occasionally, someone with a deposit already placed makes this process of picking puppies very difficult. Usually, this is in the form of delaying the process too long, which causes stress to the rest of the families that are waiting to pick a puppy.
If we feel that someone is just not the right fit for pre-reserving a puppy, we do reserve the right to refund the deposit and cancel their reservation. (2020: So far, we have not cancelled anyone's reservation for this. There have been a couple times we should have acted on this, as it really frustrated the rest of our families that had deposits placed and were waiting an extended time to pick their puppy).
