Tweetie is a very small, purebred beagle that is AKC, UKC, and APRI registered. I have weighed Tweetie several times, and she is consistently 12 lbs. Now that she has had puppies, we expect her to move up to about 14 lbs year around, but she is still might lighter than the average beagle. She is a sweet little gal that is very quiet unless our cat is sitting right outside the window or the dog pen, and then she likes to bark her greetings. When the cat is inside the pen or the house with Tweetie, she's content and quiet. I don't know if they are friends or what! :-) Tweetie's father (sire) is Whitby's Roy Boy, and chocolate tri-colored 11-12" AKC beagle. Her mother is T-Bars Howards Opal Belle, a 12" tri-colored beagle with a gold head. Tweetie has some ticking. We expect that some of her puppies will have some freckles on their legs and some will not. |
